//:Commercial work for BUG
This was the second film for the Norwegian telecommunications company OneCall that we made at BUG.The original production lasted several months and included a total number of 16 people working on and off. As soon as animation was approved i jumped in and started to do shading, lighting, scenemanagement and fx along with Erik Ferguson and mattepaint and texture artist Bård Henning Kvinen.
I worked as Lead Compositor and was responsible for managing the completion of the 26 shots in the film along with compositor Erik, we worked fulltime about a month to complete all the shots. I wrote some scripts for max to create better interoperability between max and Fusion. Including object baking in max and auto-generate comps based on renderpasses in Fusion aswell as several macros for Fusion including a very versitile lensflare macro.

I used almost every trick up my sleeve to complete the shots and it was alot of fun, especially when i had the option of working with the very talented mattepainter Bård, i realized in order to complete the film on time, we could do alot in post in terms of backgrounds and mattepaintings. This way we also created a myrade of re-usable items and keeping a consistent look to certain scenes. I spent a fair amount of time exploring the new 3d functions in fusion and how this production could benefit from it.
