Personal project
"Henry Lee", a character much inspired from the universes of Nick Cave, Tom Waits and Carnivale ,was made to improve my organic modeling and texturing skills.
The character is poly modeled in max , rendered in mental ray and post production done in Fusion5,the basemesh was exported to zbrush for refinement and detailing, leaving only to deal with the low-poly mesh in max, thus having the option of animating him. Texture and displacements on the shirt was handpainted in Photoshop.
I'm quite happy with the outcome , but there are still minor tweaks that i see now looking back at it. (too wet eyes, weird shadowy mouth on some images)
